Add the Veloda browser extension

It lets Veloda take downloads straight from your browser. Here is the whole thing, once.

A stylised walkthrough — your browser may look a little different.

  1. Open your browser and go to chrome://extensions (or edge://extensions on Edge). Browsers block other programs from opening this page, so you paste it yourself — it is a safety rule, not a fault.
  2. Turn on Developer mode — the switch is at the top-right of that page.
  3. Click Load unpacked and choose Veloda's extension folder. Veloda's Settings has a button that opens the exact folder for you.
  4. Done. Open Veloda's Settings — once the extension is talking to the app, it shows Extension connected.

Using Firefox? A hand-added extension there is temporary and disappears when the browser closes. The store version is on the way — for now, Chrome or Edge give you the permanent setup above.
