What Veloda Note does
A notes app built around one promise: your notes are yours, and no one else can read them — not other users, not us, not anyone with access to our servers.
Zero-knowledge encryption
Every note is encrypted on your device with a key derived from your password before it's ever sent anywhere. We only ever store the encrypted result — we have no way to read your notes, even if asked to.
Recovery Key
A one-time recovery key, shown once at sign-up, lets you get back into your notes if you ever forget your password. We don't keep a copy — save it somewhere safe.
Per-note password lock
Lock individual notes with their own password, separate from your account — useful for the one note you don't want open when you hand someone your phone.
App-open lock
Require your fingerprint, face, or your phone's own screen lock before Veloda Note opens at all — with a configurable delay so it doesn't ask every single time.
Two-factor authentication
Add an authenticator-app code (TOTP) on top of your password for sign-in, the same kind of protection banks and password managers use.
Checklists, tags & archive
To-do-style checklist notes, colored tags to organize at a glance, an archive for what you want to keep but not see every day, and a 30-day trash for anything you delete.
Rich text & dark mode
Bold, italic and text size in the note body, and a full dark theme with a smooth animated transition — not just an instant color flip.
Six languages
Modern Standard Arabic, Egyptian Arabic, English, French, German and Russian — each shown in its own script, with full right-to-left support for Arabic.
Offline-first
Read and write notes with no connection at all; everything syncs automatically once you're back online.
Write it down in one tap
A thought you must not lose? Long-press the app icon for "New note", or put the New note widget on your home screen. The note opens with the keyboard ready.
Screenshots blocked
Your notes stay off screenshots, screen recordings and the recent-apps preview, from the very first screen. You can turn this off in Settings.

Want a smaller file? Pick your phone's processor
The download above includes every processor type, so it installs on any phone — that is why it is bigger. The files below are about half the size, but each one fits only one type of phone. If you pick the wrong one, Android will simply refuse to install it. When in doubt, use the button above. And once Veloda Note is installed, stay with the same file next time or use the button above: Android will not move an installed app from one processor type to another — it only says the app is not compatible.

Portable version, and what the installer does
Veloda Note installs for your user account only — no administrator prompt. On a computer your password is asked for at every start: the key to your notes is never left on the PC. Uninstalling never touches your notes; they stay encrypted in your account.

Veloda Note is completely free today — no account limits, no locked features. Optional paid features, like storing photos and files alongside your notes, are planned for later; the app you download now will keep working exactly as described above regardless. Because of zero-knowledge encryption, losing both your password and your Recovery Key means we cannot recover your notes either — there is no copy we can decrypt on our end.
